Transform your ideas into reality with Flutterby Flame Designs' custom creations! Whether you're dreaming of a unique sign, a custom cutting board design, personalized keepsake, or decorative piece, I can bring your vision to life using quality wood, acrylic, or leather. Choose this service to begin the creative process, where a current item I make can be tailored to your specifications, or a brand-new design crafted just for you.

Here's how it works:

1. Answer the questions below, add this item to your cart and make the deposit – Start the journey by adding this service to your cart to pay the $20 deposit. The deposit will be applied to the total price if the project proceeds. If I cannot create your unique design, I will contact you and the deposit will be refunded to your original form of payment.
2. Collaborative Design – I will contact you to work out your ideas, refining details of your project. This may be done via email, text, or a phone call, depending on the needs of the project. Once the details are locked in, I will email you a quote for the project, and you will confirm that you would like to proceed. Due to the custom nature of the project, no refunds will be given unless the item is defective, or broken, during shipment or exchange.
3. Final Creation – The item will be created and photos taken and sent to you, as well as a final invoice. Once the invoice is paid, the item will be shipped to you.
   

Pricing is based on the following:

• Design - $30/hr
• Laser Cutting - $5–$10 per hour.
• Materials - At cost; I have some materials on hand, but depending on the needs of your request, I can special order a wide variety of wood, acrylic or leather. This would be determined during discussion of the scope of the project.
  
• Assembly - $20/hr
• Tax & Shipping - Based on total cost and shipping package size & weight.

Design Ownership and Discounts – The unique design created (files) will remain the property of Flutterby Flame Designs.  I will apply a discounted design rate if I assess that the item can be reproduced and offered for sale to others. 

Here are a few examples from previous projects to give you an idea of pricing:

• Custom cutting board: $20 (cutting board was provided, design time was ~40 minutes, item was picked up)
• Custom sign: $40 (design time was ~30 min, materials were $20, and assembly was ~15 minutes) The buyer also paid tax and shipping.
• Custom small acrylic accessory/sign for crocheted animal (qty: 2ea): $40 (design time was ~30 min, materials were $5, and assembly was 1 hour (hand-painted). The buyer also paid tax and shipping.
